Xinhua News Agency, Sept. 5, 2009 East Asia Ocean Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum opened in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao. The theme of this forum is "exchange and mutual learning, opening and accommodation". Nearly 400 guests participated in the meeting to explore the establishment of a blue partnership network, further deepen the platform cooperation mechanism, and widely promote regional marine economy and science. Exchanges and cooperation in the fields of technology, humanities, environmental protection and so on will jointly build the East Asian Marine Fate Community.
