The VIV Qingdao International Intensive Animal Husbandry Fair in Asia (Qingdao) held on September 19-21 returned to its original intention this year and moved forward to fulfill its due role as an international brand animal husbandry exhibition. Nearly 50,000 square meters of exhibition area, 451 enterprises from more than 30 countries around the world on-site exhibition. A total of 20257 professional visitors were received during the three days of the exhibition, an increase of 25% over 2018, including 2315 international visitors, an increase of 13% over the same period last year. The on-site activities were splendid, with more than 20 professional meetings held in the same period. The number of participants reached 4439. To convey the voice of global animal husbandry and create a more free and in-depth atmosphere for the interaction and exchange of industries. More than 300 industry leaders attended the exhibition, more than 200 Hosted Buyers entertained buyers to negotiate on-site purchasing, and joined more than 150 media around the world to report on the exhibition.

The model of international professional agricultural exposition is introduced into China, and agricultural brands at home and abroad gather on the west coast of Qingdao.

On the first day of the exhibition, VIV Qingdao International Intensive Animal Husbandry Fair in Asia (Qingdao) and the Asian Agricultural and Food Industry Fair in Asia in the same period held grand opening activities. Mr. Albert Arp, CEO of VNU Royal Dutch Exhibition Group, the international organizer of Asian Agricultural Exposition, expressed his gratitude to the Shandong Agricultural and Rural Department and the Qingdao Municipal People's Government for inviting him to introduce the model of international professional agricultural exposition into China. The first Asian Agricultural Exposition aroused wide international repercussions. Agricultural industry authorities, large and medium-sized agricultural enterprises, professional purchasers, experts and scholars from all over China responded warmly, highlighting the huge demand for advanced agricultural technology and supporting facilities in the Chinese market.

During the same period, 80,000 square meters of venues were opened, attracting more than 1,000 well-known enterprises from home and abroad, more than 10 national exhibition groups from the Netherlands, France, the United States, Japan and other countries, bringing together more than 20,000 agricultural brands at home and abroad. On the morning of the opening day of the 19th, 20,000 professional audiences were welcomed, of which 30% were overseas exhibitors and professional audiences.

The 26 InnovAction award-winning products, Museum S1, were exhibited and exchanged on the spot. Mr. Rob Strathman, President of Fengshang American Research Institute, Fengshang Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Equipment Co., Ltd., made a brilliant sharing on the new generation of extrusion technology; Liu Yanjie, Applied Research Fellow of Jinan Best Jet Bioengineering Co., Ltd., analyzed the scientific evaluation of heat-resistant phytase on site; Sun Yujiao, Senior Lecturer of Shandong Huachen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., made a brilliant speech on the development of Chinese veterinary Nataliia Malovana, Director of Marketing Department of TEXHA Generation Co., Ltd., shared the eggs cageless feeding system of EGGoist, the award-winning product. Wang Fangping, an engineer of Jiangsu Zhengchang Grain Machinery Co., Ltd., had a special technical exchange on the aquatic feed processing equipment (extruder) which attracted much attention at this stage. Richards Faris, Chief Scientist of Cargill Animal Nutrition American Performance Innovation Department, shared on-site how Cargill Global 360 degrees to prevent and control African swine fever, and Le Fabao, a three-year anti-African swine fever drug, was officially listed. The VIV International Forum on Animal Husbandry Innovation and Future Development, a series of international thematic forums devoted to VIV, focuses on the hot spots of global animal husbandry industry development, brings together senior experts and business practitioners from various fields, and the participants are of high quality. Active on-site exchanges and interaction, real entry into practice and application, to obtain a high degree of recognition in the industry.

Special Forum on Livestock and Poultry Epidemics and Biosafety: Ms. Ina Enting, Asia Director of the Dutch Agricultural Association and President of the Dutch Agricultural Centre, presided over the Forum; Dr. Fan Fuhao/Researcher of the Center for Quality Supervision and Inspection of Pig Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Areas (Guangzhou) published an important report entitled "Productive Value of Salivary Testing for African Swine Fever"; British Swine Association and British Agricultural Genetics Technology Chris Jackson, Director of Export Technologies, and participants shared "Policies and Measures to Prevent the Spread of Pigs in the UK". The second day of the exhibition ushered in a visiting day for professional buyers'groups, which were organized by VIV Qingdao Organizing Committee and relevant cooperative organizations before the exhibition.
