From June 1 to 4, the second session of Boao Forum for Asia Global Health Forum was held in Qingdao. In order to do a good job in volunteer service and ensure the smooth holding of the conference, the Qingdao Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League and Qingdao Youth Volunteer Association recruited 393 volunteers from Shandong University of science and technology, Qingdao University of technology and Qingdao Agricultural University.

On May 28, the Municipal Youth League Committee and the Youth Volunteer Association organized all volunteers to carry out general training such as volunteer service knowledge and skills, reception etiquette, and epidemic prevention knowledge for large-scale games, and carried out pre job field exercises to fully prepare for the arrival of the conference.

From May 29 to June 4, young volunteers gathered in batches from 6 a.m. to arrive at the service post by bus successively, providing the service of receiving station, epidemic prevention and control, consultation and guidance, logistics support, site coordination and Expo management for domestic and foreign guests and organizing committee staff. 393 volunteers work in the airport and railway station, Xingguang Island, convention venue and 20000 square meters exhibition area, covering every link and every corner of the conference, serving more than 3000 people in total, and taking part in training and on-the-job service for a total of 27500 hours, fully contributing to the smooth holding of the second session of the Boao Forum for Asia Global Health Forum.

Volunteers from Qingdao Agricultural University patiently wait for the arrival of guests from all over the world in a three stop reception center, and timely check the relevant documents for the guests who have arrived, and provide guidance for the participation process. Volunteers from Qingdao University of technology continuously provided conference guidance, epidemic prevention materials distribution and other services for the participants in the consultation service center. The volunteers in the exhibition hall are from Shandong University of science and technology. They provide translation and consulting services for business representatives from all over the world. The volunteers of logistics support group arranged the venue, manage and distribute materials orderly, and volunteers serving at 6 branch venues and other posts of the conference. They were all dedicated to the smooth holding of the conference with the most enthusiastic, patient attitude and high responsibility spirit.

"It's our fundamental task and responsibility as volunteers to have the courage to take on and make a difference in our own posts." Song Weiguo, the volunteer leader of Shandong University of science and technology, said that moving forward and growing in dedication is the biggest harvest of this volunteer service.
