China Railway Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition project is located in the core area of Qingdao West Coast new area, the ninth national economic new area, with a total investment of 50 billion yuan and a total area of 3000 mu. The construction was officially started in November 2015. The project takes the conference and exhibition industry and tourism as the engine to build a large-scale convention and Exhibition complex integrating exhibition, conference, hotel, commerce, office and other business forms. It has become an important pole of industry city integration and innovative development, and has been listed in the major project library of the transformation of old and new kinetic energy of marine economy in Shandong Province and key projects in Qingdao. Among them, the International Convention Center, International Exhibition Center, exhibition business supporting center and transportation logistics center with a total construction area of 640000 square meters were completed in April 2018. They are the leading coastal International Expo City in Northeast Asia in terms of exhibition hall scale, carrying capacity, supporting functions and scientific and technological level.
